How the Free Photo Estimate Tool Works

Three simple steps to get an accurate estimate from your phone.

Attach A4 Paper

Tape a standard A4 sheet flat against the window glass or frame. This gives our AI a known size reference.

Take a Photo

Stand 2–3 metres back and photograph the full window with the A4 sheet visible. Use your normal 1× camera (not ultra-wide).

Get Measurements

Upload the photo and our AI will detect the paper and window edges to calculate real-world dimensions.

Tips for Best Results

Tape the A4 to the window glass — not beside a freestanding display or on the floor.
Step back 2–3 metres so the entire frame fits in the photo edge-to-edge.
Use your phone's 1× lens, not ultra-wide — this reduces distortion.
Photograph from roughly square-on to the window.
Make sure all 4 corners of both the paper and window are visible.
Portrait or landscape A4 orientation both work — keep the sheet flat and fully visible.
